American Rescue Plan (ARP) Community Health Worker
Temporary position. Provides health care outreach services to Native Hawaiian individuals and families on the island of Oahu to improve a client/patient’s quality of life. Under the direction of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Operations Manager, Community Health Worker (CHW) carries out functions within culturally, appropriate service delivery programs in the community that include client identification; assists or provide health promotion/education activities. The CHW is a community member who serves as a “bridge” between health care consumers and providers to improve health and promote healthy lifestyles. Incumbent works together with the staff within KOM to meet the client’s needs.
Kū Ola Kāne Program Manager
Assist in the planning, development, design and implementation of operational work-plans based on the Kū Ola Kāne grant objectives. Emphasis is placed on a holistic approach to health care service delivery to successfully meet overall program goals and objectives. Fosters and develops a team approach in providing coordinated, individualized, goal-oriented services leading to desired client outcomes. Performs, directs, coordinates and monitors program services and activities to ensure compliance with internal and contractual requirements. Promotes the basic human rights, dignity, health, and safety of the persons served.
Research Assistant
Assists the Program Manager of our Kū Ola Kāne Program in the following activities: implementation of the scope of work identified in the active research project(s). Inclusive of and not limited to: outreach to the Native Hawaiian community, identify and register eligible Native Hawaiian participants for research project(s), collect data, prepare information for analysis or presentation; perform standardized measurements; participate in field work; participate in library research; and use computers to facilitate data collection and document information related to the active research project(s). Deliver culturally appropriate services to the Native Hawaiian community. Participate in monthly meetings, work with community facilitators, and coordinate the research project(s).
Receptionist
Serves as the public’s first organizational point of contact both in person and by phone. Handles all communication into the office, takes messages and assures that they are delivered in a timely manner. Provides administrative support for the Administrative Office.
