Dr. Lum is a Native Hawaiian physician from ʻAiea, specializing in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. She is passionate about improving the health of our lāhui and views her patients as ʻohana. Dr. Lum strives to share compassion, gratitude, humility, understanding, and, most importantly, aloha with everyone she serves

As a Community Health Nurse, Ani is passionate about making complex health topics easy to understand and engaging. She strives to create a safe space where people feel comfortable asking questions and are empowered to take control of their health.

Leia was born on the island of O’ahu and raised with traditional Hawaiian values and beliefs, Ms. Leong, continuously puts her Native Hawaiian upbringing in all that she does. With professional training, schooling, and experience in social services, both inpatient and community based, she is familiar and no stranger to the resources available, and lack of, on her home island. She will continue to put her cultural values and the importance of perpetuating it within her work and overall deliverance with presented needs of her community.

Genie Naone, a native of Oʻahu, has been with Ke Ola Mamo for 13 years. With nearly 28 years of experience in Human Services, she has worked with a wide range of populations and services. Her background in human services, along with her passion for helping others and her degree in instructional design and program development, has shaped her approach to her work.

Kent V. Kaohiʻai Kaʻahanui is the CHW Lead for Metro & Central Oʻahu and Waialua Moku. He joined Ke Ola Mamo nearly 10 years ago after a 30-year career as an architect. Starting as a Patient Navigator, he later managed the American Indian/Alaskan Native (AIAN) Healthcare in Hawaii Program. Raised in Papakōlea Hawaiian Homestead by his grandparents, Kent is a proud Roosevelt High School graduate and holds degrees from Brigham Young University-Hawaii and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. His passion for community health stems from a deep commitment to serving others.

Laura has been part of the Ke Ola Mamo ‘ohana since 2014 and brings over 30 years of experience in social services. Her career began as a Home Visitor for Early Childhood programs, then transitioned into Domestic Violence Advocacy. She now serves as both a Community Health Worker and a Manager at Ke Ola Mamo. In her free time, Laura is also a trainer for the American Red Cross. She enjoys spending time with her ‘ohana and practices self-care by going on long motorcycle rides with her husband.

Shami is a medical biller with 10 years of experience in medical billing and customer service. She spent 6 years in orthopedic surgery billing, 2 years in inpatient billing for long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and has been with Ke Ola Mamo for 2 years, working in physician outpatient billing. Additionally, for the past year, Shami has also served part-time as a Community Health Worker.

Hiʻilani is a Kanaka ʻŌiwi from the ahupuaʻa of Heʻeia and serves as Ke Ola Mamo’s HR Manager and Communications lead. She began her journey with Ke Ola Mamo as a Community Health Worker before transitioning into her current HR role. While Hiʻilani wears many hats within the organization, her primary focus remains on serving her people and community.

Kaʻala Mokulehua, affectionately known as "Aunty Kaʻala," is the Community Health Outreach Worker for Ke Ola Mamo in the Koʻolaupoko area of Oʻahu. She serves Native Hawaiians and others from Waimānalo to Kualoa Point.

Brad has been a part of the Ke Ola Mamo ‘ohana for two years, serving as a Community Health Worker. His work focuses on supporting the community with medical and dental care, lomi lomi, and helping individuals navigate medical insurance applications. Before moving to Hawai'i in 2021, Brad dedicated over 10 years to serving elders, veterans, single parents, and youth through his nonprofit organization. Now based in Waianae, he continues to bring his passion for helping others to Native Hawaiians, veterans, and Pacific Islanders, deeply committed to community well-being.
