Our Health Promotion Programs
We envision a vibrant, intra-dependent Native Hawaiian community based on cultural values with individuals achieving their optimal spiritual, mental and physical potential.
Here are a list of programs that we offer:
Native Hawaiian Healing Practices
Ke Ola Mamo promotes traditional Native Hawaiian Healing practices and traditions through various cultural education programs throughout our community, including our Lomilomi program.
Ho‘oikaika (Becoming Strong)
This wellness program encourages healthy eating and regular physical activity. Participants work with a Personal Trainer to develop an individual physical activity plan. In addition, participants are provided with nutrition lessons which educate them on how to enjoy healthy foods while reducing the risk of heart disease and diabetes.
Dental Care Services
We provide individuals with dental education and referrals to dental health services. Check with your nearest office on qualifications for dental care and for additional information.
American Indian & Alaska Native Healthcare in Hawaiʻi
Ke Ola Mamo’s AIAN program assists with providing additional healthcare resouces for all qualifying individuals.
Outreach Services
We can assist with various outreach services such as Home Visits & Health Assessments, Community & Health Resource Referrals, Medical Transportation, Cancer Navigation, Blood Pressure Screening, Assist with Forms and applications (DHHS, SSI, etc.) and more.
Kū Ola Kāne
A kāne health program dedicated to empowering, educating, and promoting the health and well-being of the Native Hawaiian man.
